In 2004, Mr. Shapiro founded Liberty Global Logistics LLC, a diversification for Liberty into the international Roll On/Roll Off (Pure Car and Truck Carrier) commercial vehicle trade.

He is responsible for the operation and chartering of the company’s bulk carriers which range in size from 50,000 DWT to 64,000 DWT. Prior to joining Liberty in 1988, Captain Hussey served in all deck officer positions on numerous bulk carriers and tanker vessels operated by APEX Marine and, most notably, sailed as Master on the M/V Liberty Sun.

Thomas Keenan is the Vice President of Engineering of Liberty Maritime Corporation. Prior to joining Liberty in 2003, Mr. Keenan served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of American V. Ships Marine and International Marine Carriers. During his 22 years in that position, he was responsible for operational and technical engineering matters for all owned and managed vessels which comprised a fleet of 36 ships. Prior to his tenure at American V. Ships Marine/IMC, Mr. Keenan was Marine Superintendent Engineer of Apex Marine Corporation for seven years.
